WHO WE ARE
GeaSphere is an environmental NGO rooted in activism against industrial timber plantations. Based in South Africa's Mpumalanga province, our mission is to protect and restore the endangered grasslands and forests of this region. We are dedicated to the preservation of the natural environment and the protection of the wildlife that call it home. We believe that by working together with local communities, we can create a sustainable future for the wilderness we love.

What we do
We are committed to ecosystem restoration and the protection of natural habitats. GeaSphere engages in a variety of activities, including:

- Habitat restoration through our flagship project, ReWild Mpumalanga. We clear alien invasive plants and process it to Biochar as sustainable soil amendment. A waste to resource initiative. Read more

- Conducting public discussions to raise awareness about environmental issues and the importance of conservation.
- Advocating for policies that protect the environment and the rights of local communities. Particularly within the context of industrial timber plantation and its negative impacts on the environment.
